If I run a site(or make available on bittorrent) a game that is currently copyrighted (that I don't hold the copyright to, if I own the copyright, I can distribute it in anyway I see fit, or at least I think I can), I am participating in piracy.

You might think that it is, and might even be able to make a compelling argument for that, but I do not think it is. It has better graphics, it can be expanded with mods from STEX, SC4devotion, and probably lots of other places, the maps are more "customizable" (I think), etc. Although I found it kinda interesting, I got the nostalgia out of my system in about 10 or 20 minutes.Īlthough SC2000 is sort of fun, SC4K is a better game in just about every measurable sense. For nostalgia's sake, I played it for a little while. The other day (well actually longer than that, I think it was actually several weeks to several months ago), I was faffing about and found a site called "" (or something like that), and one of the programs on it was an online version of SimCity 2000.
